Thank You to everyone who participated in James A. Low Research Day!

On behalf of Dr. Robert Reid, thank you to everyone who attended James A Low Research Day last week. Without your support and enthusiasm the day would not have been possible.

A special thank you to all those who presented their research, the level of excellence demonstrated by all presenters was impressive. We appreciate all of the hard work and perseverance that goes in to your research and are proud of all members of the research family here at Queen's!

Finally, congratulations to our prize winners!

Arjun Bidarimath won the best basic science poster award for his presenation entitled "Differential expression of chemokines and lymphocyte recruitment at the porcine maternal-fetal interface."

Cheslie Warshafsky won the best clinical science poster award for her presenation entitled "Pre-eclampsia as an opportunity to identify and improve children's long-term health."

Malia Murphy won the best basic science oral award for her presentation entitled "Differential expression of plasma miRNA in pre-eclamptic patients at delivery and one year postpartum."

Bryden Magee won the best clinical science oral award for her presentation entitled "Randomized Clinical Trial of a Handheld Cooling Device (Menopod®) for Relief of Menopausal Symptoms."
